Why Alumni Association
A brief history on our Alumni Association formed for MHSS: .
On 15th August 2021, We being the Alumni called Mr Fareed, Assistant Head Master, MHSS, and informed him about our wish to form an Alumni Association for our MHSS. We got an appointment to meet the Head Master and Assistant Head Master. On 17th August 2021 we visited our Muslim Higher Secondary School (MHSS) which took us to the nostalgic state of our childhood memories.
We came to know that the number of students has been reduced very low. To start with we as an Alumni team, we renovated the Computer Science lab with painting, electrical works like fixing LED lights, fans, and seating arrangements. Following that we donated five new computers to the computer lab in the school. We had an inauguration ceremony for our newly renovated computer lab on 5th September 2021 i.e. on Teacher’s Day celebration

Alumni Association
To make an official and a standardized Alumni Association, we conducted an Annual General Body Meeting on 14th November 2021 at Selvam Hall, Ellis Road. We were glad that around 100 alumni gathered to the meeting on the day. During this meeting, we finalized and elected the Executive Committee Members for our Alumni Association Muslim Higher Secondary School Triplicane.
To make our Association a government authorized body, we registered our Association under Tamil Nadu Society Act and we are proud to say that now we are a registered Alumni Association to work for our school to bring back its glory more professionally. Now we have our own PAN Card and Bank account for donations purpose.
Join NowOur First Initiative
We found that the labatories of Students and Teachers were in very poor condition. We as a team renovated Lavatories (Students and Teachers) and successfully inaugurated on 26th January 2022. Along with this, on the same day, we were also successful to donate stainless steel plates and tumblers for Mid-Day Meal department for the school students.
In the continuation of our vision towards our MHSS to bring back its glory, on 6th May 2022, we inaugurated Dining Hall in the Mid-Day Meal section for the school students.
To share our happiness of successful achievements unto our school, we organized another get together party and named it as Eid Milan on 8th May 2022 (Sunday). For this get together party, about 120 Alumni members attended the program. The Executive members arranged the Lunch Buffet for all the Alumni Members who visited for the party.
We are focusing now on admission and advertisement process to further enhance the number of students and standard of the school. We will continue our vision and mission towards our school and will see you with another successful story, soon….
